RHH: Why are producers so under-praised?

Because... ya know.. we used to give the people who actually wrote the
song credit for the song. Most rappers don't make music they just make
lyrics. Why dont they give more creds to the producer? Like in the
song title or something?

Use to, when a solo artist wrote lyrics and other people wrote the
music, both the lyricist and the band would be credited equally.
